Summary
The Teton Village Association seeks images created by practicing artists that exemplify life at the Jackson Hole Mountain resort and that positively depict the activities, art, lifestyle, and community of skiers, snowboarders and recreation enthusiasts.
Compensation
The selected artist will enter into a contract with the Teton Village Association agreeing to a seven-year usage fee for a stipend of $500. Artists retain the copyrights to their artwork.
Project Goals
Images of artwork will be printed on vinyl wraps to beautify otherwise run-down or bland looking areas in the public right-of way and enhance the pedestrian experience.
Artwork Location / Context
Teton Village Commons is at the base of the world-famous Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Wyoming.
Artist Eligibility
Artists living and working in Teton County or who commute from surrounding communities and who frequently depict mountain culture in their work are invited to apply. Season pass holders may be given preference.
Selection Process
The Teton Village Association art committee will review images and select artists.
Teton Village Association reserves the right to alter the make-up of the Panel or re-issue this RFQ and may recommend non-funding if they do not receive proposals that meet the goals of the project.

Review of high-resolution images. If the printer reviews the high-resolution image and finds that it does not meet quality standards, artists will be given 24 hours to rectify the situation and if a replacement image can not be created, we will go to an alternate artist.
Contract Requirements
Teton Village Association reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed to be in our best interest. Teton Village Association may limit the number of applications accepted and reserves the right to review only artists who have the qualifications and experience level outlined in this Request for Qualifications. Teton Village Association reserves the right to re-issue this call, alter the selection panel or recommend non-funding should we deem these actions necessary.
The selected artist will enter into a contract with the Teton Village Association. The contract will require that the selected artist allows for use of their image for 7 years (or until the wraps are removed). Selected artists are responsible for providing high resolution images and if artworks are owned by a private individual, obtaining permission or understanding of the terms of use from that individual.
Artists will receive a $500 stipend. Artists retain all copyrights to their image.

Provide up to 5 high-resolution images of the artwork you wish to be considered.
High-resolution image size: resolution = 300 dpi, size = 12” x 24”.
