WildWalls is a semi-annual mural project that highlights important conservation work happening in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE). This year’s theme is Journey through Wild Spaces. WildWalls brings the science and art communities together in a highly visual, interactive, educational, and inspiring event. WildWalls is an art show without the confines of a traditional venue, making it accessible to thousands of people daily. We activate walls with vibrant artworks in iconic public settings, with the aim to promote conservation messages to large audiences.
THIS YEAR, THERE ARE 3 WAYS to participate:
1. We will reproduce your artwork as a temporary, large-scale wheatpaste
(up to 10 artists selected)
2. Design kiosk signs for river put-ins (1 artist selected)
3. Paint a large-scale outdoor mural (1 artist selected)
SELECTION & APPLICATION PROCESS DIFFERS FOR EACH OPPORTUNITY – PLEASE READ SUBMISSION AND TIMELINE DETAILS BELOW CAREFULLY. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN’T MEET THE TIMELINES.
