JHPA is a small but mighty organization. We develop permanent public art commissions for civic entities, we produce our own temporary public art events, and we conduct community outreach around all things public art. The Project Manager works closely with the Executive Director to accomplish the goals of the organization.
The Project Manager has impeccable attention to detail, excellent writing and editing skills, efficient budget management, strong problem solving, and evaluation skills. The project manager can shift gears on a dime, is not afraid to get their hands dirty, and enjoys multi-tasking. The project manager should be familiar with local government, community issues and goals, and have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse community groups. The ideal project manager can produce projects with vision, energy, impact, and excellence that resonate with local values.
JH Public Art support staff include Cumulus Accounting, a sub-contracted social media coordinator and graphic designer, interns, and at times a grant writer. The Project Manager reports to the Executive Director, who reports to the Board of Directors.
