Gowri has been a visual teaching artist for over twenty years and she is passionate about arts integration, community building, and the vital role that creativity and self-expression play in life. Learn lantern making techniques and get started on your own giant lantern for the glowing garden. This class is for all adult levels. Ages 18 and up.

Workshop Registration

REGISTRATION FOR ALL WORKSHOPS IS REQUIRED.

The workshops are provided for free by the generous supporters of JH Public Art. There is a $25 nonrefundable materials fee. A donation of $50 is suggested to help us cover the costs of classroom space. Let’s create something beautiful together—one glowing lantern at a time.

Inspired by the garden as a metaphor for care and connection, we’ll craft glowing, nature-inspired lanterns from willow, rattan, and other sustainable materials. This workshop can be attended as a one or two day experience.
