Article: Walls come alive thanks to artists, AR tech

With a boost from her grandfather’s ladder, Katy Ann Fox works on her first large-scale mural project outside Trio on South Glenwood Street in late May. Fox’s permanent mural and nine other wheat-pasted temporary murals are going up around town as part of Jackson Hole Public Art’s WildWalls 2021, which will pair with an augmented reality smartphone app to promote understanding of the region’s ecosystem. JH Public Art will host a grand opening of the exhibit on June 29.
