Teton County Announces A Public Art Opportunity For The New Justice Center
The Justice Center project builds on Jackson Hole’s long history of civic innovation—from Wyoming’s landmark decision to grant women suffrage in 1869, to the first all-female town council in 1920. The selected artwork will extend this legacy, reinforcing the idea that justice is rooted in fairness, inclusivity, and community trust.
The new Justice Center will bring together multiple county and state services, including the 9th District Court, Circuit Court, Clerk of Court, Teton County and Prosecuting Attorney, Dispatch, and the Sheriff’s Office. Designed to be sustainable and enduring, the building draws inspiration from Jackson’s mountain heritage while serving as a symbol of safety, justice, and civic responsibility.
