The ArtSpot is a project of JH Public Art (JHPA) and a highly unique exhibition venue located along Broadway. Local artists are invited to create whimsical, site-specific installations that inspire moments of discovery, laughter, and joy for the more than 30,000 daily drivers that pass by along Broadway in the Town of Jackson. Please visit the ArtSpot page on the JH Public Art website for examples of past ArtSpot installations.
The selected artist will receive a $3,000 stipend to create a one-of-a kind artwork. If necessary, JHPA will cover the cost for an engineer to review your concept. Based on the engineer’s review you may need to alter your concept design. We strongly encourage the use of repurposed materials.
We are seeking local or regional artists – those who make art with any medium – who want public art experience. We define regional as artists who live in neighboring commuter communities.
